Project Pengyou

Pengyou (pronounced pong yo) means Friendship!
Project Pengyou is a US-China relations organization, and the local chapter at Grinnell College would like to invite local students to a fun hour of Chinese cultural activities, including Chinese Chess and the traditional game of Jian Zi!  The program is for 3rd grade and up.

April Showers Bring a Water Dance Workshop!

Saturday, April 29 our Saturday Storytime will celebrate Earth Day! Come for an all abilities movement workshop inspired by Thomas Locker’s book Water Dance. Visiting dance artist and Grinnell ’16 alumna Ivy Kuhn will lead a movement workshop following water as it moves through the world via the water cycle. Recommended for children 3-7.

Movie Mondays in May

Come enjoy a movie at the library. We’ll provide popcorn and have bottled water available. Or feel free to bring your own snacks!  All are welcome to come and enjoy!
