The library puppets are waiting for their pals!
Sign up today for this after school program starting in April:
What: Puppet Pals
When: Four Wednesdays after school: April 5, 12, 19, 26; 3:30-5:00 p.m.
Where: in the Story Room at the library
For: School age kids
What will we do? Each week we will play with puppets, learn how to tell stories with puppets, make our own puppets, plan a puppet show, sing and tell jokes, eat snacks, laugh, get goofy, and have fun.
Why? Children learn through play. Playing with puppets encourages creativity and imagination, offers a safe environment for practicing reading, listening, and attention skills, and builds social skills through practicing collaboration and communication.
How do I sign up my child? Call the library at 236-2661. Please register your child for the program by Tuesday, April 4.
Post expires at 12:00pm on Thursday April 27th, 2017
