For: Kids with a 4th-6th grade reading level.

When: 4 Wednesdays, Feb. 8, 15, 22, & 29; 3:45-4:45 pm

Includes: free book and after-school snack

We’ll be reading How to Steal a Dog, by Barbara O’Connor,
a heartfelt but unsentimental story about a homeless family
and how a sister and brother learn to cope with their new circumstances.

The library is excited to be able to provide two new online book services for young people - TumbleBooks for early readers and TumbleReadables for older elementary through high school students. Programs for the New Year begin January 3

Winter Library Program, “Vote for Books, Elect to Read!” starts January 3.

Pick up a reading log and start reading to earn a new book.
Programs for babies and toddlers, preschoolers, school age kids, middle school and teens.

Storytime starts Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 10:30, with fantasy stories.

D.A.S.H. starts Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 1:00, Treats for Troops. Meet a real soldier and pack boxes of goodies to send to our troops in Afghanistan.

Movie Matinee, Wednesdays, Jan. 11, 18, and 25 at 3:45, with popcorn.
