An Employment Application may be turned in at any time and will be kept on file at the library for a period of one year and considered if any openings become available. A resume may be submitted in addition to this application.  You may submit an application in person or via email.

The Drake Community Library staff includes these basic positions:

Library Page:  10-15 hrs/wk position.  Pages shelve materials, process new materials, provide basic customer service duties, and assist in other support tasks. View Page Job Description here.

Circulation Clerk: 10-15 hrs/wk position. Circulation Clerks are responsible for customer service activities issued from the Service Desk and assist in other support tasks.   A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.   View Clerk Job Description Here

Library Assistant: Library Assistants assist library users in the use of library services and facilities and perform many support activities involved in the operation of the library.  A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. View Library Assistant Job Description here.

Professional Staff: Full-time staff who hold an advanced degree in library and information science.
