December is just around the corner! The Friends of Drake Community Library are inviting you to participate in the annual FESTIVAL OF TREES at Drake Community Library.
FESTIVAL OF TREES is a fun holiday event where families, businesses, and community groups decorate Christmas trees for display throughout the library. Community members are encouraged to vote for their favorite(s) with “dollar ballots.” Not only does the balloting raise funds for the library, but the Festival itself represents a wonderful opportunity to bring together people, businesses and clubs while showcasing many of our community’s outstanding establishments through their creative tree decorating.
Please consider participating in this year’s FESTIVAL OF TREES which will be Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Trees may be set up during regular library hours any time after 1 pm on Thursday, December 6th. If you would like to decorate a tree but do not have one, we may be able to provide one.
Click this link to download an application form if you would like to decorate a tree. Please fill out the form and email it or mail it to the library, 930 Park Street, Grinnell, 50112, by December 3.
