GOAL: PROVIDE TOOLS TO ALLOW ANYONE TO ADD TO THE HISTORICAL RECORD OF POWESHIEK COUNTY
PHPP is a digital archive of the Poweshiek County area that includes materials contributed by individuals, as well as items from the Drake Community Library and Grinnell College archives. PHPP volunteers help scan items contributed by individuals at scheduled scan events or by appointment. The project is also collecting oral histories which are conducted by volunteers. For information on how to contribute items or get involved in the project see below.
CONTRIBUTE MATERIALS: Do you have materials that might be of interest to the project? Do you wonder if they are really something that should be included? Or do you have materials that you’ve already scanned (or would like to scan yourself) and think might be nice to include? Click hereto give us some basic information on what you have. We will get in touch with you for next steps.
